Splash into the fun of Jensen Lakes! Spend your leisure time dipping your toes into the lake or 100,000 square feet of sandy beach, which will include a boardwalk, lounge chairs, volleyball net and umbrellas.

Relax at the nearby park, with a playground, open grass area, picnic tables, gazebos, benches and tennis courts. The beach club will rent equipment to make it easy to take part in a variety of sports and activities.

A membership card gives residents and their guests access to the lake, beach, park, and beach club 365 days a year. The lake will include docks at the beach club, private docks for each of the lake lots, and semi-private docks at private walkway access points. A swimming area and dock will be located just off the main beach area. The lake may be stocked with fish for both summer and winter recreational fishing. Get outside and get active on the beach! Challenge friends to a game of basketball, volleyball or tennis, and make the most of the sports and activity areas surrounding Jubilation Beach.

RELAXATION

KAYAKING

Take your love of water sports to the next level! The lake is the perfect place to kayak, swim or paddle board. The Beach Club will offer equipment rentals for various waters ports.

FIRE PIT & BBQ

The lake is a place for year-round gatherings and celebrations. Grab your friends and enjoy the outdoor BBQs and firepit.

The Jubilation Beach Club is the heart of the community.

The crown jewel of the community is Jensen Lake complete with Jubilation Beach & the Beach Club. The lake, beach, and park are now OPEN and the beach club design is being finalized. The future beach club will feature ~8,000 square feet of space: change rooms, washrooms, equipment rentals and a concession stand. It will also have office space for the management team and a commercial kitchen.

The large, open event space will house the many programs available to residents and will be available as event rental space when not in use. The beach club will offer a variety of free and paid community events and programs for all ages. Examples include:

Rent the club for a private event! Facility rentals will be easy and convenient for residents that wish to host events ranging from weddings, birthday parties and meetings. Detailed usage rules will be in place for the lake, beach, main park and Jubilation Beach Club to ensure enjoyment for all residents.

Construction update & timelines

The lake, beach, and park are now OPEN! The Maintenance Building is operating as the interim guest services, equipment storage, administration offices, and guest washroom facility.  Design and planning of the beach club building is underway.

Is there still work to be done at the lake, beach, and park?

We are continuing to complete a variety of construction and operational items for the lake, beach, and park. Including installation of site furniture, a shelter/watercraft storage area at the dock, ongoing landscaping, improvements to the access gate, and a list of other operational items.

Activities Year-Round

With ice skating, outdoor fire pits and more, Jensen Lakes is more than just a summer community.

The fun at Jensen Lakes continues year-round. In winter, Jensen Lake becomes a winter-wonderland full of outdoor activities. The lake transforms into a classic outdoor skating rink complete with a skating change room located inside the Beach Club.

A zamboni will keep your ice hockey game fresh with plenty of space for other on-ice activities. Off the ice, enjoy a winter stroll through the well-maintained pathways.

With the new St. Albert Library and Landmark Cinemas around the corner, there’s always a way to keep warm and find something to do. Explore some of the other community amenities in Jensen Lakes.
